Complete Millersville University Metrics Results (Apr. 6, 2013)
MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Led by freshman
Logan Jones (Tuscarora H.S./Frederick, Md.), members of the Goldey-Beacom College men's cross country team competed at the 31st annual Millersville University Metrics Track and Field Meet at Biemesderfer Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Jones turned in the Lightning's lone top 10 finish in the meet after completing the 3000-meter steeplechase in 10 minutes, 21.70 seconds.
Meanwhile, junior
Stewart Reich (Gov. Thomas Johnson H.S./Frederick, Md.) competed in a pair of events, turning in a time of 53.59 seconds in the 400-meter dash and a mark of 2:03.84 in the 800-meter run. Freshman
Ethan Burton (Red Lion Christian Academy/Middletown, Del.) posted a time of 1:11.99 in the 400-meter dash along with a time of 2:54.97 in the 800-meter dash.
Junior
Jabari Chambers (Howard H.S./Wilmington, Del.) ran in the 800-meter dash and finished with a time of 2:07.90 while senior
David Zartler (Perryville H.S./Perryville, Md.) finished the 400-meter dash in 53.15 seconds.
The Lightning also competed in the 4x400 and 4x800 relays and posted times of 3:39.46 and 8:52.47, respectively.
