Tatnall's Olivia Hardin had a good chance of competing for a title here with a seed time of 11:43.72, while Smyrna's Bowser also could add to her hardware. If Tatnall's Hays enters the event, she'll become the favorite.

Padua's Lydia Olivere posted a 10:04.12 time recently, which sets her up for a nice performance at state. Hays could also contend in this race if she enters.
Relays
In the 4x200, it's anyone's game as Tatnall (1:46.15), Padua Academy (1:46.60) and Smyrna (1:48.28) all vying for the top finish. It's a little less competitive in the 4x400 with Padua Academy's 4:04.39 and in the 4x800 with Tatnall's. 9:43.35.
Triple Jump
Padua Academy's Arryana Daniels enters as the top seed with a jump of 36-1, while Sussex Technical's Ruby Mullen is second in seeding with a mark of 35-3.5.
Long Jump
Caesar Rodney's Destiny Bailey-Perkins leads the field with a mark of 17-11.5, while teammate Leila Correa has some ground to make up with a seed mark of 17-2.5.
High Jump
Tatnall's Woods, who also features in the sprints, could have a good chance at winning the high jump with her seed height of 5-4. Charter School of Wilmington's Asaana Shamlin enters with a height of 5-2.
Pole Vault
It could be a two-person competition with Padua Academy's Camryn Harris (11-3) and teammate Darby Quetsch (11-0) each going for top heights.
Shot put
Smyrna's Myrissa McFolling-Young is right on line for a state title with a top incoming mark of 43-10.75.
