What a weekend for the New Jersey prep. She won a national-caliber 400m field at The VA Showcase in a US No. 1 time of 52.55 seconds, which is also the sixth fastest indoor time ever record. Better yet, she set a junior class record of 1:28.54 in the 600m on Saturday, which was also the second fastest effort ever recorded that distance. And Mu has a race with professionals coming up in February, too.

The North Rockland junior aced her Millrose Miles trial in 4:39.15, which was the sixth fastest effort recorded all-time. Her 1500m split was 4:19.72, which is seventh all-time. Tuohy will lace up in a professional 3K in late January, so that might be the lift-off that gets her to No. 1.

Still holds the No. 1 effort in the 60m and the No. 4 time in the 200m. We will see Ms. Davis' best soon enough.

If you haven't noticed lately, the Georgia signee is back at doing what she does best: Everything. She's No. 3 in the HJ (5-10), No. 2 in the LJ (19-9), No. 12 in the 60mH (8.70), No. 19 in the 300m (39.71), No. 28 in the 600m, and crazy enough as it sounds, No. 42 in the shot put.

- Katelynne Hart: Coming back from an appearance for Team USA in the Stirling XC Challenge and potentially could continue her XC season for the USA XC U20 Championships in Tallahassee, Florida on Feb. 2. We'll wait to include her on the MileSplit50 once she hits the track.

- Tia Jones, Wheeler (GA): Jones recently signed a professional contract, which will limit her from consideration on this list.

- Meghan Hunter, Provo (UT): The sprinter has not opened her indoor season yet.
