Delaware high school track and field athletes posted several personal records at meets held April 10-11.
Dymin Green (Appoquinimink) ran 13.10 in the 100 meters at the Bob Behr Invitational, lowering her previous personal record of 13.39. Green placed fourth in a field of 28 runners and now ranks #8 in the state and #7 among juniors.
Taylor Richards (Hodgson Vo-Tech) clocked 26.84 in the 200 meters at the Bob Behr Invitational, improving from her previous best of 27.36 set in April 2025. Richards finished second among 29 competitors and ranks #17 in Delaware and #7 among juniors.
Zachary Ruoff (Charter School of Wilmington) ran 23.41 in the 200 meters at the Bob Behr Invitational, bettering his previous mark of 23.93 from January 2026. The senior placed fourth in a field of 27 and ranks #70 in the state.
Nathan Everett (Red Lion Christian) won the 100 meters at the Bob Behr Invitational in 11.26, improving from his previous best of 11.43. Everett defeated 27 other runners and ranks #19 in Delaware and #4 among juniors.
Roan Samuels (Salesianum) threw 194-9 in the discus at the Bob Friday Warrior Invitational, breaking his previous personal record of 189-0 set in April 2026. The mark set a Salesianum School record and Samuels won the event among 21 throwers, ranking #1 in the state.
Luke Jafarieh (Tower Hill) ran 23.66 in the 200 meters at the Bob Behr Invitational, improving from 24.35 set in January 2026. Jafarieh placed seventh among 27 runners and also set a personal record in the 100 meters, running 11.77 to better his previous mark of 11.88.
