02/12 DIAA Indoor Championship

Tatnall girls win going away in the 4x8 - 9:49.57.  It wasn't even close.  Tatnall boys came up a stride short to place second
in the boys 4x8 just behind Salesianum.  Tyler Tate received the baton 50 meters down, but was able to push the Sallies anchor to the line, almost winning, splitting 1:55! LeShon Collins and Kyle Jones both defend their titles in the 55 dash and 55 hurdles!  Ynijah Copeland won the girls 55 hurdles.
Leshon Collins is a double winner so far this day, as he defeated Marquis Dendy in the LJ, jumping just 22 feet and a few inches.
Tyler Tate makes it 2 for 2 in the open events, winning the 800 and 1600.  Ebonique Jones was a 3 time champ today, winning the 55, 200 and LJ!  Reagan Anderson led a 1-2-3 finish for the Tatnall girls in the girls 800.  Leshon makes it 3 for 3 by narrowly winning the 400.  Myra Wanamaker won the girls 400.  The 200 m dash for boys had an upset winner, Brandon Young of McKean toughed it out to take down the favorite Leshon Collins!  Haley Pierce set a new state meet record in her 3200 victory.  Noah Chodos steals the win from Kyle McFoy with just a few meters to go in the 3200!  tatnall tops off a dominating day by dominating the 4x4.  Like every event today, they won it going away, making it look easy.  They won the team title by about 40 points!  Well, it took a while, but it was worth the wait!  The boys Tatnall squad also won the team title!  They and everyone else had to wait for the final event, which turned out to be quite an amazing event to watch as Marquis Dendy exploded to a 52 feet 1.5 inch triple jump!  Yes, that's right, 52 feet!
