Several Delaware high school track and field athletes recorded personal bests at meets during the week of April 27.
Lia Catalina (Padua Academy) ran 12:24.88 in the girls' 3200 meters at the Catholic Conference Championships on April 28, improving from her previous best of 14:48.10 set in September 2025. The freshman finished second in a field of five and ranks 28th in Delaware and fourth among freshmen statewide.
Korey Manley (Howard Tech) cleared 6-6 in the boys' high jump at the Blue Hen Conference Championship on May 1, bettering his previous mark of 5-10 from January 2025. The junior won the event in a field of eight competitors and ranks third in Delaware and second among juniors. Manley also set a personal best in the triple jump, improving from 40-4.25 to 42-5.
Isaiah Blackwell (Milford) clocked 11.48 in the boys' 100 meters at the University of Delaware High School Invitational on April 30, dropping from his previous best of 12.05. He placed 18th of 69 runners and ranks 58th in the state. Blackwell also recorded a personal best in the 200 meters, running 24.31 to improve from 27.96.
Natalie Horsey (Cape Henlopen) cleared 5-2 in the girls' high jump at the HAC Northern Division Championship on April 29, improving from her previous best of 4-8 set in April 2026. The freshman placed second of 14 competitors and ranks third in Delaware and first among freshmen.
Jada Davidson (St. Georges Tech) ran 13.25 in the girls' 100 meters at the University of Delaware High School Invitational on April 30, improving from 13.76 set in April 2026. She finished 18th of 63 runners and ranks 47th statewide.
Toshiki Kuga (Seaford) ran 10:29.26 in the boys' 3200 meters at the HAC Southern Division Championship on April 28, improving from 11:05.25 set in April 2026. The senior finished fourth of 12 runners, set a Seaford High School record, and ranks 59th in Delaware.
Travon Sharper (Glasgow) ran 22.73 in the boys' 200 meters at the Blue Hen Conference Championship on May 1, improving from 23.88 set in April 2026. The junior placed 10th of 41 runners and ranks 27th in Delaware and eighth among juniors.
