In 34 degrees with off and on sleet and rain, Allison Updike of Tamaqua displayed her incredible javelin talents in front of her own home fans and improved on her previous US#2 mark of 144-9 that she set last weekend with a winning mark of 155-4! Her teammate Christine Striesel finished 2nd with a US#5 mark of 137-5! Paige Stoner of Pottsville won both the 3200 (11:26.5) and 800 meter runs (2:30.2). Kaitlyn McSurdy of NorthSchuylkill won both the 100 hurdles (16.2) and the 300 hurdles (47.0).

For the boys, Javonie Rosa of Minersville won the triple jump with a new state leading mark of 45-7.50. Shavinski Thomas of Pottsville was 2nd with a mark of 44-2. Rosa was also the winner of the long jump with a mark of 21-2.75. Kyle Laughlin of Blue Mountain cleared 6-5 to win the high jump.

Angel Piccirrillo of Homer Center made her anticipated return to the track with three gold medal performances. She won the 1600 meter run in a PA#2 time of 5:05.96, the 800 meter run in a state leading time of 2:16.33 (meet record) and the 3200 meter run in a PA#3 time of 11:13.18. Freshman Kennedy Weisner of Elk County Catholic ran a strong silver medal double. She was 2nd in the 1600 meter run in a PA#4 time of 5:08.97 and was 2nd in the 800 meter run in a PA#2 time of 2:17.72. Lauren Kenney of State College won the javelin with a US#3 mark of 144-3. Nikki Kearns of Altoona won both hurdles, taking the 100 meter hurdles in 15.98 and the 300 meter hurdles in 47.45. Teammate Kelly Davis was a double winner, taking the 100 (12.78) and 200 meter dashes (26.91). Megan Dornish of Elk County Catholic won the shot put (41-9, meet record) and the discus (127 feet even).
 
For the boys, Patrick Anderson of Kane Area cleared a meet record height of 15-3 to win the pole vault. Jamal Devine of Williamsport won both hurdles, taking the 110 meter hurdles in 15.18 and the 300 meter hurdles in 41.31. Rafeeq Barnes of Altoona ran 11.07 to win the 100 meter dash (10.96 prelim). His 4x100 meter relay team ran 43.71 to take the gold medal. Nicholas Patton of Tyrone Area ran 22.30 to win the 200 meter dash. Aaron Wilkinson of Valley View ran 9:50.42 to win the 3200 meter run. Brian Leap of Bellwood Antis won the triple jump with a mark of 45-2.75. Kyle Hefkin of State College won the javelin with a mark of 190-11. Brice Beals of Bald Eagle Area won the discus with a mark of 166-6.

Janie Powis of Christopher Dock won both the 1600 (5:40.70) and 800 meter runs (2:34.71) and teammate Karli Balmer won the 100 (12.80) and 200 meter dashes (26.79). For the boys, Christopher Dock won every relay on the track, including the throwers 4x1.

Strath Haven won five of the eight track relays, highlighted by a state leading 4:04.8 winning time in the 4x400 meter relay and a 12:40.4 win in the distance medley relay. Hannah Grossman also brought home gold for Strath Haven, winning the open 3200 meter run in 11:15.9. Upper Darby won two of the other three relays, including a win in the 4x100 meter relay in 49.5. In the field relays, Haverford won two of the three throw relays (shot put and javelin).

Drew Magaha of Upper Moreland ran a state leading 1:54.58 to win the 800 meter run and a added a 49 second split on the 4x400 meter relay. Brad Rivera of Bensalem was 2nd with a PA#2 time of 1:57.75. Chris Campbell of Council Rock North set a meet record in the 5000 meter run with a time of 15:22.22. Brendan Stone (4:09.77) and Tom Coyle (4:09.81) of Lasalle went 1-2 in the 1500 meter run. Kevin Day of Glen Mills won the 100 meter dash (11.01) and the long jump (22-2). Christian Lupica of Holy Ghost Prep ran a state leading time of 14.75 to win the 110 meter hurdles. Matt Gilmore of Cheltenham ran 22.45 (22.28 prelim) to win the 200 meter dash. Will Taylor of Abington ran a PA#1 time of 49.09 to win the 400 meter dash. His 4x400 meter relay team won with a time of 3:25.92. Council Rock North ran 43.19 to win the 4x100 meter relay. John Raymond of Council Rock North threw 50-2 to win the shot put. Harley LaCroix of Cheltenham won the triple jump with a mark of 44-2.50. Jay Jabat of Pennsbury and Kevin Caporiccio of Council Rock South cleared 6-4 in the high jump.

3:25.0 to win the 4x400 meter relay and the Norristown girls ran 49.5 to win the 4x100 meter relay.

Cardinal O'Hara girls won the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:08.30. Methacton ran 9:37.98 to win the 4x800 meter relay and 12:55.56 to win the distance medley relay. They also added a 1:48.56 4x200 meter relay win to their collection of golds. Villa Joseph Marie set a meet record in the discus relay with a combined mark of 204-5 and a meet a record in the shot put relay with a combined mark of 68-10.50. Cheltenham set a meet record in the high jump relay with a mark of 10-4 behind Kelley Steutz's 5-4. Anna McCloskey, O'Hara, had the top marks in the shot put (37-11) and Discus (126-10). Robeson teammates Shali Muhammed (17-07.50) and Shalaya Sidney (17-6) were the top long jumpers. Ryan Brumfield, Owen J. Roberts, posted a PA#1 6-7 in the high jump, and also had the top mark of 19-11.50 in the long jump.
 

For the boys, Wissahickon ran a meet record and US#8 7:57.66 to win the 4x800 meter relay and they added a meet record 1:02.84 shuttle hurdle win and a 1:31.02 4x200 win to their day. Northeast ran 43.66 to win the 4x100 meter relay. Spring Ford ran 3:28.34 to win the 4x400 meter relay. Archbishop Ryan won the pole vault (22-6), long jump (40-1.50) and triple jump field relays (83-3)

Matt Moore of Southern Columbia won the 110 hurdles (16.42) and the 300 hurdles (41.38) and Ben Copenhaver of Jersey Shore won the 1600 (4:34.46) and 3200 meter runs (9:56.93). Donny Scatena of Central Columbia cleared 14-7 in the pole vault. In the discus, Tyler Kerstetter of Selinsgrove threw 155-3. His 52-04.25 was second to Mike Recia's (Bloomsburg) 55-4 in the shot put. For the girls, Alison Billas of Danville Area ran 11:28.65 to win the 3200 meter run. Virginia LaMacchia of Central Columbia was over the bar at 11' in the pole vault. Rachel Fatherly of Williamsport was a double champ, taking the discus with a 106-6 toss, and a put of 39-06.75 in the shot.

Bethel Park ran 9:44.10 to win the 4x800 meter relay. Paige Rittleman of Butler cleared 5-4 to win the high jump. Larisa Debich of Hempfield (7) cleared 12-3 to win the pole vault. For the boys, Billy Stanley of South Park became the new NATIONAL LEADER in the javelin with a mark of 206-7! David Reinhardt of Bradford Area was 2nd with a US#3 mark of 201-1. Reinhardt also won the shot put (56 feet even) and the discus (164-3). Alex Moran of Mount Lebanon ran a state leading time of 4:23.51 to win the 1600 meter run and added a 2nd place finish in the 3200 meter run with a time of 9:44.6 (PA#4). Wil Bailey of Penn Hills ran 1:59.34 to win the 800 meter run. Dorian Brown of Baldwin ran 50.35 to win the 400 meter dash. Grant Kuiawa of Thomas Jefferson won the 110 hurdles (15.20) and the 300 hurdles (40.76). Luke Gallaher of Forest Hills cleared 6-6 to win the high jump over John Dahlstrand of McDowell and Mike McClelland of Trinity (7) who both cleared 6-4. McClelland did win the long jump with a mark of22-6.50. Jacob Hensh of Laurel Highlands cleared 14-6 to win the pole vault.
