RICHMOND, Va. – The Lock Haven University men's and women's outdoor track & field teams wrapped up competition today at Richmond University's Fred Hardy Invite.
Highlighting today's competition was the Bald Eagles 2-3 finish in the men's 400 meter dash.
Sean Harper (Lumberton, N.J./Rancocas Valley) was out leaned at the line and finished second with a time of 48.14.
Steve Roberts (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) was third with a mark of 48.87.
Rodney Rosario (Wilmington, Del./Thomas McKean) had a solid outing. He clocked a sensational PSAC mark of 1:54.92 in the 800 meter run. He was 13th overall in a talented field and he was also a member of Lock Haven's 4x800 meter relay team that clocked the school's fifth fastest men's time in school history. The Bald Eagles were fourth with a time of 7:51.98.
Alex Monroe (Lewistown, Pa./Indian Valley) was sixth in the men's 3K with a time of 8:33.61.
Paul Stults (Glenolden, Pa./Interboor) was third in the high jump with a personal-best and PSAC mark of 6-2.75.
On the women's side,
Lindsey Lambert (Howell, N.J./Howell) and
Laura Histand (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) led the way with a pair of PSAC marks in the women's 3K. Lambert was seventh with a time of 10:20.77 and Histand took 11th (10:29.68).
The Bald and Lady Eagles return to action next Saturday (April 7) at the Millersville Metrics.
