DORNEVIL AND FAN FAN END SEASON AT NCAA REGIONAL

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Sophomore Ketsia Dornevil (Philadelphia, Pa.) recorded a career-best time in the 800m Thursday, but it wasn't enough as she just missed the cut for qualifying for the quarterfinals during the 2012 NCAA East Regional, held at the University of North Florida's Hodges Stadium.  Senior Tracey Fan Fan (South Orange, N.J.) also failed to make the cut for Friday's quarterfinals in the 400m hurdles.

In her first career trip to the NCAA Preliminary Round, Dornevil posted a time of 2:08.36, besting her previous career-high of 2:08.40, set at the 2012 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championships.  Her time was good for 29th place overall, but missed qualifying for Friday's quarterfinals by 0.34 seconds.

Fan Fan, also competing at the NCAA Regional for the first time, wrapped up her illustrious Delaware State career as she finished 42nd in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:01.20.  The senior finished third in the MEAC 400m hurdles in 59.52.
