Just letting everyone know that Pat Montferrat combined all of the NJ performances together both individual and teams can be found at the top of the article. Great work NJ!

St. Peter's #2 runner ran JV because of a mishap last week at the Shore Coaches meet. He ran 13:45.1 to win the JV race. If that time is included in the stats, SPP places ahead of Chatham and Delbarton.

@PFFlyer It is included in the stats under season bests. When rankings were detailed they were in many cases made on speculations. Some teams had not even run yet they were highly ranked. Why? reputation of the runner or the coach? The facts should be the only criteria yet for how long had teams been ranked with suspect times on suspect courses. I accepted the subpar performances of some of my runners for various reasons. We defeated Pope John and Don Bosco Saturday. Does that make my team better than those teams? I do not think so at this point. We have already raced against those other two teams during the season and defeated them. Did they get better? I am merely pointing out the FACTS. Performances are FACTS.

@JerryNJ Polls are about opinions. Voters have different opinions and different ways of looking at things. What I see as important you might not. So what? Its all just opinion and ultimately what happens on the course is all that matters.

@ShoreTFXC Facts Facts Facts Facts Facts I'll just post the straight 5k rankings from now on.. no? What? I have to have an opinion on where those times were run? Huh... Tougher courses? I also have to ponder the competition they were racing against? ... What? Do duals show real potential or going through the motions? Resting a top runner? Let me question that with my XC knowledge... An injury? Something that might be healed by next week or more? Someone is resting early on? Weather what? I guess I can judge that I'll look up the rainfall that whole week prior.. How do I rank these? With and opinion you say? WELL that's a lot of opinion when you didn't want the straight facts! Starting to look like a little bit of speculation mixed in there. Where's the line here? Your complaining is starting to look like goldilocks and the three bears here. Too much opinion, too little opinion, just right.. WAIT I hate that too. Straight up 5k team rankings. @PFFlyer Those times were run September 7th. Tomorrow at the JC Championships we will run the 5K missing my #1 runner from that meet. He is not injured but visiting his grandparents in Canada which this week is there Thanksgiving. You will now have to readjust our rankings based on the FACTS.

@ShoreTFXC You and Jerry should start you own poll. If this one bothers you so much, just ignore it. It's our opinion...you're entitled to yours but neither you nor Jerry are going to tell us how to vote or run the poll so you should get over it or just ignore it. I didn't vote for Freehold girls - I told you that last week. I did vote for Don Bosco but dropped them a bit as they keep competing without three important guys. However, based on what I see and the fact that Levermore will be back within a week and is, as he tells me, pretty fit, I kept them in the top 10.

@ShoreTFXC Their 5th girl is incorrect. I have to delete that performance from the database. Somehow a runner in the open race had the tag Brick Memorial when she wasn't on the team. Site picked it up when I was entering stats.

@JerryNJ Jerry Sorry that I have been pissing you off. I have no idea what you were trying to communicate with your last post. Note to all: From this point on, we will no longer respond to anything related to the 2013 NJ High School Rankings Poll. We stand by the rankings and support the panel that votes. Enjoy the rest of a great season. Best Pat & Reilly
