Meet Information

ENTRY LIMITS - Entries are limited to three per individual event and one team per relay. Performances must be achieved during the 2019 Outdoor Track and Field season. There are no qualifying standards. Entries are to be made on de.milesplit.com.

SCORING - The meet will be conducted under NFHS rules. Individual events will be scored to 6 places using 10-8-6-4-2-1. Relays will be scored to 5 places using 10-8-6-4-2.

AWARDS - Awards will be given to the top 6 individuals and members of the top 3 relay teams. All Conference honors will be earned by the winners of each individual event.

LANE PREFERENCES - 100m, 100h, 110h 3-4-2-5-1-6 200m, 400m, 300h, 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m3-4-2-5-1-6

800m, 1600m, 3200m, 4x800m Position assignment is random.

TRACK EVENTS - Heat assignment by performance list, with fastest heat running last. pyramid spikes only.

STARTING BLOCKS - Starting blocks may be used in events whose distances are 400 meters or less. Blocks will be provided, but teams may use their own blocks.

HURDLES - The boy's 110 hurdles are 39 inches tall, boys 300, hurdles are 36 inches tall, the girl's 100 hurdles are 33 inches tall, and the girls 300 hurdles are 30 inches tall.

RELAYS - The 4x100 relay may use the fly zone. The 4x200 and 4x400 relays will be conducted using a TWO-TURN stagger. The 4x800 relay will use a ONE-TURN alley start. Please use chalk for marking the track.

RELAY BATONS - Relay teams are expected to supply their own batons.

FIELD EVENTS - Flight assignment by performance list: best flight last. For the Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump and Triple Jump, nine competitors advance to the final where they will compete in reverse order of placement in the trials. Please use chalk for marking the runways.

THROWING IMPLEMENTS - The boy's shot put will be 12.0 lb and the boys discus will be 1.6 kg. The girl's shot put will be 4.0 kg and the girls discus will be 1.0 kg. The throwing sector will be 34.92 degrees. Implement inspection will be conducted at the site of the competition beginning 1 hour prior to the scheduled start of the throwing events.

VERTICAL JUMP PROGRESSIONS - Boy's pole vault 8-0, 8-6, 9-0, 9-6, 10-0, 10-6, 11-0, 11-3, then increase by 3". Girls pole vault 6-0, 6-6, 7-0, 7-6, 8-0, 8-6, 9-0, 9-3, then increase 3". Boys high jump 5-4, 5-6, 5-8, 5-10, 6-0, 6-1, then increase by 1". Girls high jump 4-4, 4-6, 4-8, 4-10, 5-0, 5-1, then increase by 1".
