Sophomore Michael Julian of The York School won the CIF-Central Coast Section Division V boys title, running the 2.95-mile Crystal Springs course in 15:46.35. Senior Wilser Vasquez placed second in 16:11.89 in leading Crystal Springs Uplands to a sixth consecutive team title.

Girls 2.95 Mile Championship - Division V Nov 17, 2019

Freshman Kaiya Brooks ran away from the competition to win the girls Division V championship at the CIF-Central Coast Section finals, running the 2.95-mile Crystal Springs course in Belmont in 18:07.57. Senior Tevah Gevelber placed second in 18:54.92 in leading Castilleja to the team title.

Boys 2.95 Mile Championship - Division IV Nov 17, 2019

Senior Raymond Brookman of Santa Cruz won the boys Division IV title at the CIF-Central Coast Section Cross Country Championships, running the 2.95-mile Crystal Springs course in Belmont in 15:42.62. Junior Mario Avila placed second in 15:47.83 to lead King City to the team title.

Girls 2.95 Mile Championship - Division IV Nov 17, 2019

Junior Anna Weirich won the CIF-Central Coast Section Girls Division IV title, running the 2.95-mile Crystal Springs course in Belmont in 18:01.12. Junior Luci Lambert of Sacred Heart Prep placed second in 18:48.95. The Menlo School, despite missing a standout senior, won the team title by 81 points over Sacred Heart.

El Camino sophomore Noelle Diep won the CIF-Central Coast Section Division 3 title, running 18:42.57 at the 2.95-mile Crystal Springs course in Belmont. Evie Cohen, a junior at St. Ignatius, placed second in 19:05.84.

Mountain View St. Francis senior Juan Pablo Garcia wins the CIF-Central Coast Section Division 2 title in 15:28.98 at the 2.95-mile Crystal Springs course in Belmont. Benjamin Geil, a junior at Leigh, placed second in 15:32.11.

Presentation senior Gianna Mendoza wins the CIF-Central Coast Section Division 2 title in 17:55.55 at the 2.95-mile Crystal Springs course in Belmont. Isabelle Cairns, a junior at Mountain View St. Francis, placed second in 18:04.57.

Los Altos freshman Lauren Soobrian wins the CIF-Central Coast Section Division 1 title, running the 2.95-mile course at Crystal Springs in Belmont in 17:58.20. Sequoia junior Yvonne Brien Miller was second in 18:17.70.
