Padua Academy senior Lydia Olivere won the girls mile at the New York Relays this past weekend with a 4:49.75 effort to dominate the field winning by 17 seconds. The Villanova commit led wire to wire with the fastest time in the state since Tatnall's Reagan Anderson ran 4:44 at the same venue of Icahn Stadium in the 2013 adidas Dream Mile.
The performance also ranks Olivere US #3 currently in the mile and was the second straight year in which she has taken home first in the mile at the New York Relays (4:53 win in 2017).
