FYI, Teddy Mitchell broke the course record at footlocker south when he won in 1989 with a 14:57. There is a big difference if the races are at Balboa in California as opposed to the Florida versions. 1982,83,84 and I think 2000 were all in Florida. Balboa Park, California is a MUCH MORE difficult course than we could put together in this state. That hill on the last mile at Balboa is Stupid hard.

@xccoach1 The 1999 race was also in Orlando with Ritz throwing down I think a meet record of 14:29..
