Meet Information
The Sussex Central Track Program is excited to host the 2019 IRSD Middle School Track & Field Championships at the Sussex Central Track. This meet is open to Georgetown Middle School, Millsboro Middle School, and Selbyville Middle School of the Indian River School District. The meet will start at 3:30 p.m. The tentative schedule is listed below. Heats will depend on the number of athletes entered into each event and will be based on the athlete's seed time. Heat results will be combined to determine places for each event.
Registration will be managed online this year with MileSplitDE. A link to register all of your student-athletes will be sent to you and your A.D. Registration will not be accepted after April 15, 2019 11:00 pm.
The Sussex Central coaches and student-athletes will be producing the event. Hopefully, we will not need any help, but will ask you if needed. We appreciate the understanding.
Blocks will be available for the athletes to use for their event. Please bring your own batons, discus, and shot.
The stadium concession stand will be open for athletes, coaches, and spectators. Chic-Fil-A will be bringing menu items for purchase. COACHES - PLEASE ANNOUNCE TO YOUR ATHLETES THAT FOOD AND BEVERAGE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE, BUT YOU WILL NEED MONEY. This will help pay for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place boys and girls trophies to be presented following the conclusion of the meet.
