Friday, May 9th-  5:00PM (4:30PM for Triple Jump + Shot Put)

Saturday, May 10th-  12:00PM

Friday Arrivals:  No one is allowed on campus until 3:15PM (traffic needs to clear after school gets out) The track is open for warm up at 3:30pm.

Saturday arrivals:  9:00am

GENERAL 

Saint Marks High School has a 400 meter 6-lane oval all weather facility. There will be no locker room facilities available. Only pyramid spike shall be permitted. Chalk or tape may be used for athletes to mark runways and exchange zones. 

** Pole vault will be contested on Friday afternoon at 3:00PM at Abessinio Stadium

Girls first, followed by boys.

ENTRY LIMITS 

Entries are limited to two per individual event and one team per relay. Performances must be achieved during the 2025 Outdoor Track and Field season. There are no qualifying standards. Entries are to be made on de.milesplit.com.4 event limit. 

THERE ARE NO PROJECTED TIMES ALLOWED IN THIS MEET. If a mark is not verifiable on Milesplit or easily accessible on your teams websites4sports.com, the athlete will be moved to the last heat with no mark. 

No hand times will be allowed in the 100, 200, 100h, or 110h.

SCORING 

The meet will be conducted under NFHS rules. Events will be scored to 8 places using 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. 

AWARDS 

Awards will be given to the top 3 individuals and members of the top 3 relay teams. All County honors will be earned by the top 3 in each event.  

Team trophies will also be awarded at the conclusion of the meet to the top three teams.

Finals will be Top 8 Advancers - 2 sections of 4 Based on Time. Slow to Fast

TRACK EVENTS 

Heat assignment by performance list, with fastest heat running last. pyramid spikes only. 

STARTING BLOCKS 

Starting blocks may be used in events whose distances are 400 meters or less. Some blocks will be made available for use and teams are permitted to bring their own. 

HURDLES 

The boy's 110 hurdles are 39 inches tall, boys 300, hurdles are 36 inches tall, the girl's 100

hurdles are 33 inches tall, and the girls 300 hurdles are 30 inches tall. 

RELAYS 

The 4x100 and 4x200 relay will be in lanes all around. The 4x400 relays will be conducted using a THREE-TURN stagger. The 4x800 relay will use a ONE-TURN alley start.. Final relay declarations will be made using cards on the day of the race. Any athlete on your roster is eligible to compete in a relay. Relay teams are expected to supply their own batons. 

FIELD EVENTS 

Flight assignment by performance list: best flight last. For the Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump and Triple Jump, nine competitors advance to the final where they will compete in reverse order of placement in the trials. Please use chalk for marking the runways. There will be a short line in use for the Boys/Girls Shot Put & Discus. First Legal Throw will be measured, then proceeding throws that do not exceed the Short Line will not be measured. 

-Boys Shot: 38 Feet      Discus: 100 Feet 

-Girls Shot: 28 Feet      Discus: 75 Feet 

THROWING IMPLEMENTS 

The boy's shot put will be 12.0 lb. and the boys discus will be 1.6 kg. The girl's shot put will be 4.0 kg and the girls discus will be 1.0 kg. Implement inspection will be conducted at the site of the competition beginning 1 hour prior to the scheduled start of the throwing events. 

VERTICAL JUMP PROGRESSIONS 

Boy's pole vault - 8'0", 8'6", 9'0', 9'6", 10'0", 10'6", 11'0", 11'6", and then increase by 6"; Girls pole vault - 6'0", 6'6", 7'0", 7'6", 8'0", 8'6", 9'0", 9'6", and then increase 6"

Boys high jump - 5'6", 5'8", 5'10", 6'0", 6'2" then increase by 2"; Girls high jump - 4'4", 4'6", 4'8", 4'10", 5'0", 5'2" then increase by 2"

ADMISSION 

Friday - $5 Adults, $5 Students. 

Saturday - $5 Adults, $5 Students 

All team members in uniform will be admitted free. Any manager or non-uniform team member must be accompanied by a coach. 

A list of head coaches and assistant coaches has been provided to the front gate for check in upon arrival. (please check your websites4sports rosters because we pulled the coaching staff off the rosters. )

PARKING 

General parking is available in the main parking lot of the school.

Buses MAY NOT DROP OFF AT THE TRACK. The facility only has one exit, and it is a major safety hazard to have cars or buses stopping at the track. There will be security along the driveway to prevent any drop off. 

The parking lots should be open by 3:15pm on Friday and 10am on Saturday. Saint Marks dismissal is 2:45pm on Friday, May 9th. No teams may drop off prior to 3:15pm. 

 Plan on heavier than normal traffic in the area around this time.

CONCESSIONS 

Concessions will be available on site at the stadium for purchase. 

County Championship t-shirts will be on sale as well. 

TEAM CAMPS 

All teams may set up around the track area. Please do not place any tents betweens the timers tent and the bleachers. 

Do not set up tents at the top of the hill.
