This
invitational is in honor of Mr. Jim Blades, a former track icon in the state of
Delaware who spent 33 years at Lake Forest as a teacher, coach, and athletic
director before losing a battle with cancer in 2004 at the age of 57.
The
Jim Blades' Middle School Track & Field Invitational brings together teams
from across Delaware. This event gives student-athletes the opportunity to
compete and showcase their talents.

ENTRY FEE: Team Entry Fee is $200.00 per team. ($350.00
total for your Boys' and Girls' Teams) The team entry fee covers cost for
workers and judges so you will not have to supply any workers or timers.

ADMISSION: CASH ONLY - $5.00 per person / Free 5 years and younger
AWARDS: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Engraved Medals in each event for both Boys and Girls. Team Trophies will be presented to the 1st place Boys' Team and the 1st place Girls' Team.
CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available for purchase during the meet.
