POLE VAULT Girls (s.h.-60), then Boys (s.h.-70)
HIGH JUMP Girls (s.h.-43), then Boys (s.h.-53)
LONG JUMP (3 jumps) Boys, then Girls
TRIPLE JUMP (3 jumps) follows the LONG JUMP
Boys, then Girls
RUNNING EVENTS Girls, then Boys
9:00am 4 x 800m Relay
9:40am 55m High Hurdles
10:05am 55m Dash
10:40am 4 x 200m Relay
11:05pm 1600m Run
12:15pm 400m Dash
1:20pm 800m Run
2:10pm 200m Run
3:10pm 3200m Run
3:55pm 4 x 400m Relay
** We will score the meet to eight places. Medals will go to the first three in each event.
** Shot Put is thrown from a wooden surface.
** Only spikes may be used on all running and jumping events.
** Blocks will be used only in the 55m hurdles and 55m dash.
** Whenever possible, we will run ahead of schedule.
** An athlete who is in two events simultaneously should please check in to both events.
MESSAGE FROM COACH FISCHER
** Coaches - Go to the finish line tables immediately upon arrival for scratches. After scratches, we will post heats and lane assignments on a table near the finish line. Athletes will grab their own hip number and put it on their left hip.
** Entry Fees $150 for girls team, $150 for boys team checks made out to the University of Delaware 25 entries per gender
** Additional entries would be $10 per event entered No limit per event, except only one entry per gender per school will be allowed in the long jump, triple jump, and all relays - teams will be allowed to scratch down to 25 per gender at the meet
** I have attached an updated schedule. The fields are large. We will move ahead if possible.
** All 200m Athletes MUST COME to the bullpen and remain there to declare that they are running during the GIRLS 800m and remain there for heat and lane assignments OR THEY WILL BE SCRATCHED. We are trying to run full heats. The declaration will take place in the bullpen near the finish line.
** Please tell your athletes to discard their hip numbers after their event in the trash cans.
** Events will be on a rolling schedule.
** There will be no concession stand.
** We will score the meet to eight places. There are awards for the top three places.
** Running Events - Girls, then Boys - heats are slow to fast - two-turned stagger on events 200m and longer
** We will use blocks for only the 55m Dash and the 55m Hurdles.
** 1/4" spikes for jumping and running events - throwing circles are wooden
** Our hurdles are square bottomed, not rocker type.
** Long Jump-Triple Jump - 3 jumps - athletes must be ready to go - limited run-throughs
** Shot Put - 4 throws - girls and boys on separate circles at the same time
