Lampkin, an Alabama signee, has at the top of the national board in the 55m since December, so few expected a latecomer to challenge the sprinter for championships in either race. But Lampkin met her own expectations. by running 6.95 seconds in the 55m -- good for US #4, although she's already bested that with a 6.89 -- and 24.46 seconds in the 200m, which is good for US #9.
